Gosling calls abs 'pets': Ganster Squad star says muscles make him ...

Being Ryan Gosling probably doesn't suck. Between starring in movies, traveling the world, and being the object of most women's desires, his life just doesn't seem too rough.

The "Gangster Squad" star spoke with Australia's Herald Sun and was asked about his famous physique. Referring to his muscles, Gosling says, "Anyone can get those if they work at it. It's just a lot of exercising." He then joked, "It's really quite pointless, because you go to a gym and you lift a heavy thing so a muscle grows, but the only thing the muscle can actually do is to lift that heavy thing."

Gosling said he consider his muscles, "like pets because they don't do anything useful. But you have to feed them and take care of them, otherwise they'll go away." The 32-year-old actor also claimed he felt "goofy" having them.

If only we all had that problem.
